"It was Awesome!" That was the consensus from the group that braved the 200 mile, 3 hour car ride down from Rockford, MI to paddle in the 10th Annual Chicago Flatwater Classic! Powers Outdoors Adventures had 8 paddlers in our group this year, hailing from Rockford and Grand Rapids, MI. The Group had a start time of 11:28am on the perfect day, which was mostly sunny and 64 degrees. All of the paddlers received a POA Support Bag upon finish, a lunch from Goose Island Brewery, and a Flatwater Classic T-shirt.
